VINTAGE 2025 SOLD OUT

Last November, a runway ran through a working winery in the Riverina, built from the stories of the women who make the wine. It sold out, and went on to be named a finalist at the Ragtrader Australian Fashion Industry Awards.

THE FAMILIES

Citrus Threads begins with the people who grow, pick, pack and juice the fruit. Their interviews are the source the work is made from, and the archive is being built as they are recorded.

THE PREMISE

AGRICULTURE IS CULTURAL AUTHORSHIP

Citrus Threads honours the people who grow, pick, pack and juice the fruit of the Riverina, and the families who have done that work across generations.

Families interviewed for the oral history archive are the authors of the work. Designers, jewellers, painters and film makers respond to them, and the weekend is where that response is shown: a dinner, a runway after sunset in Memorial Park, and an exhibition that stays open through the week.

Edition 02 runs in Griffith across 17 and 18 October 2026, as part of Griffith Spring Fest.
